How To Defeat Odin In Final Fantasy 13

With the relase of the newest installement of the beloved Final Fantasy series fans are now enjoying themselves as they play through Square Enixs epic adventure JRPG know officially as Final Fantasy 13. As gamers play through the ground breaking levels of Final Fantasy 13 they will face villians more terrifying than ever before. And one of the most terrifying as well as the most difficult to beat is the beast known as Odin. So just how do you deafeat this bahamut?

Well the first thing you want to do is make sure that you have leveled up all your weapons. This is very important because as you will see in the battle Lightning does not have the ability to use Paradin Shift until you have reached a speific level. Another important utility weapon you will need is a Spark Green. The Spark Greens can be used to neutrailize any enemy that you encounter. The last step in preparation for the fight is to max out all your party and level them up on from level 20

Now that the preparations are complete its time to get to the battle! Equipt hope with Medic and if you have Szah equipt him with Medic as well. Lightning will be the party leader (As is the Final Fantasy tradition of having the lead protaganist lead the party in battle) She will have pre equipted weapons such Blaze Edge and Fire fly. These weapons will be very important in taking down Odin

When the battle starts the first thing you should do is attack Odin head on and do it in his weak spot. Odin has three levels of specialties and it is vital that you dont trigger any of them by accident. Odin uses thunder as his main attributes so use the Watera Aquata magic spell to deflect his attacks. after 3 deflects he will be exhausted and your time to strike will come. Choose "Attack" for all of your party members and let them all attack him at once

After your head on attack Odins life will decrease enourmously and you will be 50% closer to beating him. The second half of the battle wont be as easy as the first because Odin will now unleash his full strenght. Odin will use his "All Knowing" magic spell and his attack points will rise substantially. Szah and Hope are your best chances of beating him now because Lightning will be extremely beaten after the head on attack. Send Szah and Hope in for a final charge by using the magic spell Paradiguim Shift

Once you attack Odin will release his final attack and you must rotate the control stick so that Szah and Hope can fend against it. A huge clash will occur and if you had equipted Spark Green earlier then your party will win the clash. Now defeating Odin will be simple because now all you have to do is choose any finishing attack and watching the mighty Odin fall to his knees
