the best games console currently out there
This is an argument that has been in debate not just for this generation of games consoles but since the beginning. But what is the best one of this generation, Wii, Xbox 360 or the PS3?
Although if you are going on the basis of sales the Wii is top of the market it just doesn’t seem to be doing it for me personally. The major let down is not the console but the games. The games are being made by other companies to the general market at a very poor standard. This is not a bad idea but Nintendo don’t seem to be making any games for their fans anymore. Nintendo have also rather insultingly announced another Zelda DS game and Mario Galaxy 2 both of which seem to be almost complete copies of the previous edditions.
The PS3 is a good console for many reasons. Blu-Ray is the only real reason this console has sold and the only reason I purchased it. the word free should not always be used in a positive way. The whole online experience is very poor on the PS3. Compared to Gears of War and Halo the PS3 exclusives are not brilliant. The PS3 wand seems to be a bad rip off of Nintendo's product.
The Xbox has got to be top simply because of the overall experience I have recieved. The games are better the online service is paid for but I rarely see a laggy game. Xbox Live seems to recieve many more updates that actually do things of importance. It is pretty much gurenteed that Natal will secure the sales the 360 needs to come out on top of Sony at least. At least Microsoft are tying to keep the fans happy.
