Do you think there will be a release date for Super Mario Galaxy 2 any time soon?
They first announced it at E3 (June 2nd) 2009. It's now December 13th 2009 as I'm speaking. They have already released New Super Mario Bros. Wii almost a month ago. Is there a possibility that they might just cancel Super Mario Galaxy 2 altogether. I know they don't usually do it being that it's a "Mario" title.
No, it won't be canceled. It will most likely be out late spring/early summer of 2010. They won't announce anything soon because they don't want sales to slip for New Mario because consumers sometimes wait for bigger, better versions of the game (same thing happened with Paper Mario and Mario Galaxy 1, people waited for Mario Galaxy rather then buy Paper Mario).
